Since I completely forgot to put an entry in on Lincoln I will speak on what I remember;
Two odd hours of dialogue on a subject I previously new very little about. I can't say I didn't learn some of the history but it was a bit of an overload. The acting and film techniques where, as most of Spielberg's films, polished to the point that even when I was trying to pick them out I kept getting dragged back into the story. Daniel Day-Louis's performance influenced and assisted in this I am sure. Overall a film worth watching twice if only for the spectacle but more likely for the history.
